I recived a phone call from Fran Porter at work telling me she is going to call the police on me and that I better start looking for a Attorney... she called me on Monday...then today she emails me this below, but it doesnt even have the correct amount and I remembr paying this off...

Send them a debt validation letter along with a cease and desist to make them stop calling you. Send it certified. They are acting as a third party collector and are required to validate the debt including how much you have paid and how they arrived at their. A good sample letter can be found on this website. Report their threats to the attorney general in the state you live in and the state where they are located. The cannot bring charges against you or sue you no matter what they say. These are illegal threats.
They never mentioned in their email how much you actually owe. T

It's a generic letter. Call them and get it sorted out.
