I live in Delaware and have 9 PDL. We were just staying on top of the interest fees. Three of the loans are in paydown but at this pt we have paid more than double the original loan value. I recently had to take a leave of absence from my job and won't be able to repay even the interest this month. I am desperate for help. Delaware it seems in really in favor of the companies and not me.

Good News, Bad News . . .

Once Click, Paycheck Today, United Cash and Loan Shop are not licensed in Delaware (or anywhere else for that matter.) So all they can really do is nag you with collection calls.

CashNetUSA definitedly has a Delaware license. Not sure about payday online (physically, they're in Arizona but I'm pretty sure they're licensed elsewhere, possibly Delaware). And I don't know anything about GW.

They can send you to collections but the good news is most of the CA they use do not report to credit bureaus because they are just as shady as the PDL companies...you can dispute it if they do. Cashnet is liscensed in every state they lend to so set up payment arrangments with them

They will probably send you to their in house collections or Bass and Associates. Don't worry about them. But they will call and tell you that you are going to be arrested, charged with fraud, etc...Please ignore their threats, they are illegal and you are not in any type of trouble. You need to file a complaint with your state's Attorney General and the dept. which regulates these companies. Chances are none of them are licensed to loan in your state or licensed any where else for that matter. CashNet will work with you, they will make it seem rough the first one or two calls, but if you are firm, they will work with you. And they do have a physcial address where you can mail money orders. Also let the unlicensed ones know you are filing a complaint with the AG's office.

Ok, I am still not sure if there is more I should be doing. I am going to the bank on Tuesday (hopefully that should be enough time to freeze my account). I tried contacting a few of the companies but none replied to my request for help. Should I let these default and then try to figure it all out? My husbands payday is the 31st. We simply cannot survive if we lose all of our interest on these payday loans. Any one with information on how to contact United cash loans?
