I emailed them about marking my account paid in full because I had overpaid them and they were violating state law and such and this is the response I got back from them:

Quote:
We most certainly did not solicit any business from or with you. On the contrary your name was furnished to us by a third party with whom you had made contact over the internet as being a person who required a short-term loan. It was only because of this approach by you that we, in turn, responded to your request for a loan.

It is clear from the terms of our agreement with, and signed and accept by, you that the matter of your loan is not governed by Mississippi law. We adhere to our claim that our transaction is governed by the law of the place where our company resides which is not Mississippi. Because we are satisfied that our claim in this regard is correct, we agree with you that there is no Federal case law that refutes our claim. If we are correct, as we maintain, why should any case refute us?

Nevertheless, and without derogating from what we have said, we would be prepared for the sake of peace to settle this case on the terms suggested by you with the following proviso. If any payment is not paid by you on or before the due date, the full balance in fact owing by you will immediately become due and payable and we shall pursue all legal steps available to us to recover it.

Sincerely,

What does this mean and what should I do now? Please help asap!!!!

It sort of sounds to me like they are NOT willing to mark this paid. Is this a recurring loan? Some payday loan companies will start taking out an extra $50 to pay down on the loan after about the 5th time renewing it.

What was the payday loan site you visited to seek out this loan? Most internet loan companies will tell you that they follow the laws of their location.
