Hi there,

I didn't have the money to put a stop payment on One Click Cash but I did revoke authorization like over 2 weeks ago. Today the account will be closed but, of course, before I could do that they debited my account. Someone I spoke with there prior to last payday stated that they would allow me to "skip" a payment. I really was trying to stall them. I e-mailed them on Tuesday reminding them of revoking the authorization also. Now that they have debited my account after revoking their right to do so, do I have any legal recourse. They are not getting any more of my money (even though now it's only $65 that they say I would owe). As soon as the account is closed they are getting a request for refund and/or PIF and they'd better comply. I am so pissed. It was only $80.00 that they got but still hurts. Can I file penalty of perjury?

I also have a loan with them. I sent them an email a few weeks back and they responded that I sent them a form letter. I sent them an email back stating that the letter they sent me is a form letter and went on to explain the laws of my state and revoked their right AGAIN to debit my account. I haven't heard from them since. So I don't know if they have marked me PIF or not. I have reported them to the Florida Office of Financial Regulation. We'll see what happens!

I sent them an e-mail today stating that they fraudulently accessed my account after I had revoked their authorization to debit (twice). I also stated how much I have paid and how much I should have legaaly paid and I requested a refund and my account marked PIF. I basically said that I thought we would be able to settle amicably but since they didn't play nice neither am I. I also e-mailed my AG's office. I'm not sure how to file a formal complaint. I will look into that more closely. I will be send UCL and refund request and PIF also. We'll see what happens.

I would file fraud charges with your bank, since they debited the account after you revoked their right to do so. Most state AG offices have information on line which you can refer to when you file your claim. I would call your bank ASAP and you could probably get the ball rolling over the phone.

I already filed a dispute with the bank. I will know by next week if I will get the money back. I e-mailed the AG's office but got an automated reply. Will know more on that next week, too. I just asked them how do I file a formal complaint.
