Has anyone had a demand draft pulled by World Wide Cash?

I have requested my bank to stop any ACH debits from World Wide Cash on my account, but I know that some of the shadier ones do pull the demand draft trick, which is what National Opportunities just did. I am wondering if I should give the bank a call and request some other action in order to prevent a demand draft via check.

And if your bank will not allow you to close and open a new one.

Joshua, Just like Spanisheyes posted they also try the paper check routine. I warned of this one earlier they will try and send a check thru with some odd number. I would definately close that account. KYSIDE38

yeah i would close the account also. i spoke with the manager of the bank and he told me that dpeneding on what rep you get with the bank sometimes they dont do the holds correctly so things still get thgouh and he advised me that in a situation like this it would be best to close the account.
