ok so I have recently stumbled upon this site and have read enough posts to know I regret getting payday loans. I currently have 3 Internet PDL's out with the following company's or at least its how they show there name when the debit from my checking account.

United Cash Loans/United Cash

CashNetUsa

ameriloan

I was hoping someone could give me some feed back on these companies and any contact info so I might be able to pay off early as I just came into some money and would like to get rid of these now instead of getting to the point some of you out there have reached.

Thanks,Nick

I am in New Mexico.

To date I have only paid the 1st installment or what I guess they call the intrest payment while not actually making any payment towards the loan.

UnitedCashLoans. Loan Amount 200.00 payment made 60.00

CashNetUSA. Loan Amount 200.00 payment made 2 of 60.00

ameriloan. Loan Amount 250.00 payment made 2 of 60.00

Ok so after looking back on my bank account I see I have made 2 payments of intrest to 2 of the companies.

Thanks,Nick

United Cash loans is a DBA name of Rio Resources. There are so many topics on this company explaining about their illegal activities.

From what I heard, CashNetUsa is licensed in most states. They may sound hard in accepting proposals from you, but stick to the plan. You will be through.

Do a search on the companies here. You will get more information and their contact info.

Nick -

Thanks for posting the info on your loans. From a moral standpoint, many of us would say you need to pay back the principal amount you borrowed, plus the interest allowed by your state. However, in looking over the law on payday loans in New Mexico, it appears there is no limit on the interest rate! Apparently New Mexico's payday lending law is as consumer-unfriendly as Utah's!

Here's the law in New Mexico (just select your state),

My recommendation would be to go to the website for the Consumer Industry Manager (http://www.rld.state.nm.us/FID/index.html)for New Mexico and search the Licensee Database (there's a link on the left hand side of that page) to see if these lenders are even licensed to lend into your state.

Nick I would send complaints in to the Attorney Generals office there. I have been told they are considering a ban on payday loans there. So the more complaints the better. United and ameriloan are not licensed to do business anywhere they used to be in NM but ran to Oklahama the last I heard. They are one of the worst companies I have found to deal with.
