I live in FLorida Does anyone know If i can be prosecuted for closing my bank and opening a new one. I have paid more that 90.00 every other week for 3 months to six PDL companies for an intial loan of 300.00. I figured 90 x 6 = 540.00 per loan, and they are not even paid off. They threatened check fraud. HELP!!!! I anm a nervous wreck. I have others that want my new checking account and routing numbers I am nervous about giving out that information. WHat can I do?

Their threats are empty, they just want you to pay up, and know that they can't really collect unless they scare you into it.

Also, do not give them your new bank information by any means. You can use alternative methods of repayment, such as money orders, Western Union, that DON'T require you to give them any of your bank information. Just be strong, because they have to learn to accept the situation on your terms.
