I need someone who has been where I am and can lend a hand and help me with paying these internet payday loans. I want to be debt free, please help me.

Hi Cannr, Sorry! You are right! I was slightly ticked while I was typing that. The guy from the CA was nice when he thought I was going to send money by Friday. I left a msg on Friday early a.m. and told him I had done some checking and it seems that this loan is not legal in my state and that I wanted some validation of the debt as well as the name and license number that he as well as the NMS operate under in KY. I told him I would be submitting this request in writing as well. I left my fax and e-mail as well. He left a msg early Friday to call him while I was out. The next msg several hours later he stated that he assumes we changed our minds about working it out and encouraged me to call and work something out with him before 2:30 that afternoon or he was going to "release" my file. He said if we were thinking we didn't have to pay anything then we were making a mistake. He also said "good luck to you this weekend," which I considered quite threatening. After I had a chance to cool down, I thought it was funny.

Also, I have the debt validation request letter, but should I also include the payment history he sent me and put in something revoking any funds regarding this loan to be taken from any account of mine? I have a stop on the ACH already and have spoken with the bank, so they are aware of the whole situation. Should I also add the FTC section regarding "validation of debts?" I want to cover ALL bases. :D Thanks so much to everyone. If I hadn't found this site and gotten the advice that you all have given me, I would have sent them more money and would've never known any better or that I was being taken for a ride. I'm ready to fight back thanks to everyone's support!!

mom, do you need a letter stating that this loan is illegal and revoking debits from your account? I don't believe I sent you one. I think I just sent you the debt validation letter. I am going to send you the other letter. It revokes everything under the sun. If you have any problems with it or any questions at all, just let me know. This guy is trying to take you for a ride. We'll let him know we're up for it. You need to inform them that you have filed complaints against each company with the BBB, the FTC, and your state AG. If you haven't filed complaints already, do it NOW. They need to be filed. And the state AG will be on it. Take my word for it. I'm sending you the letter through pm. If you have any questions or if this jerk calls you again, let me know. If he does call, do not answer. Let him leave his messages. And document everything he says. Hang on. I'm pm'ing the letter to you.

Cannr, I got the letter. Thanks so much!! I'm going to send the NMS a dispute letter via e-mail as well as certified mail with a cc to the CA. I'm going to send the CA's debt validation letter via fax with a copy via certified mail with a cc to the NMS. I have included the FTC regulations as well as the Kentucky State Laws. You guys are angels from heaven!!

mom, you're doing great so far! It's a battle, but always remember in your mind, they are illegal! Just keep that in mind! I'm glad the letters helped. Now, do you know how to pm goudah? If you need me to, I can pm her for you. Just let me know.
