I don't know what to do I am in PDL heck! Coming off a divorce, used the PDL's to help with car repairs, then car payment, living expenses..What do I do first? I am scared to death...I don't know where to start...

First you need to calm down ( I know easier said than done) then you need to list the companies that you have loans with and how much you borrowed and how much you paid back, what state you are in, and if the loans are store front or internet.

If you have any storefront loans you need to deal with them first because they are licensed in your state and they will do what they can to get their money.

But as soon as you list your loans and the state you are in, we can help you on what you should try next.

The next things we need to know are this:
What state you are in?
What companies did you borrow from?
How much did you borrow from each company?
And how much have you paid back in so called fees to each company?
The next thing to do would be to close your checking account and open a new one so that you can regain financial control over your life!

Florida fortunately is a non garnishment state for those who can claim head of household. You must send letters to these PDLs revoking any wage assignments and ACH withdrawal priveledges. These are both voluntary by law. They will probably ignore you. Ask your bank to block all ACK withdrawals on your account. If they won't then close your account anfd open a new one. It is better to deal with these companies on your terms then not have enough to by food or pay rent. Below are the Laws for the State of Florida (just select your state).

Are these pay off amounts what they say you owe? What were the amounts of the original loans?
You have a couple of bad people listed. Big LTD is the worst of the worst. Cash Transfer is a close second and MTE is also bad. The only one I see that I know operate legally is CashNetUsa. Just remember that you can't be arrrested and none will come to your job. You will be harrassed by phone. You must get a wage assignment revocation to CTC. They willsend one to your boss. Go your HR or Boss and explain that they have no legal obligation to honor that. Show them the revocation letter. BigLTD will call you over and over and threaten you with all kinds of crap. Just hang up. If they call back hang up again or press a key down on your phone and hold it. You might pretend you are someone else and tell them that you ran out the door screaming "I quit" and no one has seen you since. Eventually they will just go away. They are operating illegally and they know it

You just write them a certified letter and send it certified return receipt stating that you hereby revoke any and all wage assignments that you have agreed upon and also all ACH withdrawal Priveledges that you agreed upon. If yoy can afford it send it overnight or priority as these people move very quickly.
