Hi My name is Michele

I live in nj. I have payday loans out from internet.

ameriloan 250.00 already pd 225.00
tendollarpaydayloan.com 300 already pd 735
cashdirectexpress 300 already pd 198.00
loanshop 300.00 already pd 90
loanshop 300.00 already pd 90
xpresscash or genotha roth 300.00 already pd 360.00

Payday loans are illegal in NJ and none of these companies should have loaned there. The annual interest cap is 30 percent on small loans. For example Tendollarpayday (that name kills me) is legally owed by originally 390.00. You have paid them 735.00. They, according to NJ law, owe you 345.00. I would send them a letter ststing that they were lending illegally in the State and were over the Usury cap and demand a refund of what they overcharged you. They probably won't give it to you because they have a bad reputation but you may get a PIF. Tell them that you are filing with the attorney general and the FTC. Geneva Roth is one of the worst. They will continue to debit your account know matter what. You should close that bank account and open a new one so you can deal with all these companies on your terms. Expect alot of hollow threats. Because they are violating your states laws they really can't do much but threaten. And threaten they will. Try to reach a settlement with the rest that you can realistically afford.

I would close my account before your next payday. It is better to eat and pay your neccessites than to have your whole check swallowed up. That is how I wound up taking more payday loans. They would leave me with nothing so I would take another to put back what was missing. It becomes a vicious cycle. I had six or seven I am not sure. I have yet to hear from a couple and its been months. One day my direct deposit did not go in the bank and all hell broke loose. They kept hitting my account over and over like a school of hungry sharks and the NSF Fees piled up. Thats how I wound up here.
