I have a charged off account. I don't know who to contact to pay it off.. will paying it off improve my credit score? Can I get it taken off my credit score the card was used by my bf while I was in basic trainning in the Army.. i didn't know about it thats why it took so long... can I improve my credit score?

This is for a charged off account. Make sure that you are aware of the SOL in your state and you have enough money to pay in full. Any latest payment will renew the SOL from the beginning and you will be legally bound to pay it later.
You can't have the negative item removed from your credit until it is past the seven years period. But if you show it as a paid item, it will improve your credit scores a little.
