The first thing you need to do is contact your creditors and get the exact amount you owe. You can try to make payment arrangements with them, or debt consolidation. There are members here that have done this, and should be posting soon to help you.

Hi Terrences -
Welcome to the forums!
If you signed up for the free counseling session when you registered for this site, you will receive a phone call from a consultant who will discuss your options for debt consolidation or settlement. Please understand you are under no obligation to use their services - you may find another debt consolidation or settlement firm to work with if you like.
If you haven't pulled a recent copy of your credit report, now is a good time to do so, so you have a better idea of what your overall debt situation is. Go to annualcreditreport.com - the report is free, once per year, or when you've been denied credit - and it includes the reports from all three credit bureaus. There's no program to sign up for - it's completely free. You only have to pay for things like your credit score or other special services they offer - but not for your report.
You mentioned you lost your job last year - have you found another job since then? It will be important to have some sort of income for a debt consolidation or settlement program to work.
Keep us posted on your progress, and feel free to ask any questions you may have!
