I can not view my loan documents from Purpose loans. I have sent emails to them and called their customer service. When I called they said I could not view my documents until my loan was either paid off or I made arrangements with them. Is this legal. Don't I have a right to see these documents?

YES you have a right to see the loan documents. Know why they won't show them to you? Because they don't exist.

A large portion of the internet payday lenders pull the same trick - if you demand validation of the debt, or a breakdown of the amount THEY say you owe, they will stall - they will say "pay us, and then we'll provide the validation"...or "your bank statement is your validation"...or "we don't HAVE to provide you validation".

If you did this loan over the internet, or provided your information over the phone to them to get the loan, the reason they won't give you the documents is because there aren't any.

I have my original loan documents from my Purpose Loans pdl loan. I still owe on this loan. The documents actually come from the First Bank of Delaware. They use the bank and call it installment loans, but it is a pdl. However, I do agree with you, when I sign on the website, I cannot get in and when I try to register to get in to view my account, it won't allow me too. Also, when I try to contact them via email, they don't answer. I haven't tried calling them, but it is impossible to find out anything on their website about your account or via email.
