Internet pdl's generally won't sue since they are usually unlicensed. Even if they did, Texas doesn't allow wage garnishments. The biggest problem with internet pdl's is they will drive you batty with their collections. If you can stay strong when they do you'll win in the end.

Freaky Friday is right. The calls will be the worst of the ordeal. If you can put up with those for a few you will be fine. File complaints with your Attorney General's office. Some companies will threaten you with arrest and having criminal charges brought against you, don't panic, they are lying, you will not be arrested. Which companies are you dealing with? That way others can tell you what to expect from their own experiences.

you should contact those companies and ask them if you can make a payment arrangement. since you did take their money it is appropriate to, at the very least, repay the principle amount owed. I'm sure they will work with you if you are using a reputable companies. remember these companies allowed you to pay bills during your time of need, so do the right thing and try to repay them. Defaults are the reason for the high rates that MUST be charged in order to provide the service and pay overhead operating cost and make a profit.

People are scared to death as it is and searching desperately for help and then some ya-hoo comes on here and posts something retarded!

We are used to it, gives us something to do on a Sunday night, they like to come on here and post things to get others stirrred up, the hope is that we are not on here and when we log on the next day they will have said their peace and ran.
