well i was doing real good with paying all of my loans and credit cards until... well i was on a role with everything. i had a great credit score, many things in my name but they were positives. then i decided to put things in my name or loans in my name to help out friends who i thought i could trust, well that back fired in my face and now im stock in debt with constant worries and long nights and stomache aches. i just want to get back on my feet again.

I am very sorry to hear about your friends not being trustworthy. Have you thought about talking with them and fixing the problem? Since the debt is theirs, they should understand it and pay the dues.

If things got to a really bad point, you could also sue them for the loans . . . . Do you have any documentation showing that these friends owe the money? Were you a cosigner, or the only name on the loans?

Yes, it's very hard to backfire especially when it's a family member or a friend. Sometimes, they don't understand the situation you have put yourself into. You have to go through a debate whether to take legal actions or not!!

This is a most unfortunate incident, and sorry to hear of such things happening to a person who reached out to help another in time of need. Are you still in contact with this person(s) and what are they doing to rememdy this situation they caused you to be in?
