I have two different problems. I got a bad credit rating due to false info given to credit bureau. I work for a large hospital corp. involving work comp and deal with the billing dept constantly regarding errors involving employees being billed in error....wrong info put in system such as who to send bill to..should be very simple..we (hospital) have one work comp ins. carrier and this is programmed into registeration computer system..when a person is reg. in a ED that info goes to everyone (radiologist, ER doctors billing co, lab and so forth so if ED registration dont get it right then its a nightmare getting it corrected..next thing it ends up on credit report unless you pay it again and collect from your insurance co. yourself. Most people dont have the money to pay up front for services that they have insurance to cover and then try to be reinbursed. Got a report on my credit report bc ED failed to send to correct insurance co..even thru ins.card was supplied. It was corrected by hospital but it show on report as "write off"..
2nd issue. Had a electric bill and satelite to show up as not paid for a residence I hadnt lived in for 9yrs..have disputed one for 3yrs and the satelite has shown up. How can i get this corrected.
3rd..moved from another house 1yrs ago..had phone service disconnected wk before moving..guess what they continued to chg me and eventually sent me a bill for >400 dollars..I call bellsouth and it got me no where..it went to my credit report.

In my opinion you should highlight all the items and dispute with the credit bureau reporting it. They will verify it with the data furnisher and get the correct information. If they still don't remove the wrong item from your credit, you have the rights to ask for the result of the investigations placed with the creditors. Under the FCRA laws, data furnishers and the credit bureaus are responsible for reporting accurate information on the consumers???????? files. If they refuse to correct the information after being provided proof, it is defamation and willful injury under section 623. You have the rights to claim for the extent of damages incurred by the wronged party, as deemed by the courts
