I am in a debt management program and have been for the past 4 or 5 months. My credit score is REALLY low and I want to try to bring it up. My debt management plan says that after my 3rd ontime payment, my credit bureau would be "reaged" ( Ithink tha's the term they used) What does that mean?? What else can I do in the meantime to help boost my score? I did the freecreditreport.com and it showed a collection from midland credit management, but I have no idea what it is for. I have never been contacted by them or anything. How do I find out what this collection is for? And also, should I try to make double payments to my debt management plan if I can?

Any help would be appreciated!

I think after the third month payment, your creditor will start reporting your file to the bureaus. Why not you clarify this thing with your dmp company?

Send a DV letter to Midland Credit and get the complete details of the account for which they are hitting your credit copy. If they can't show you the details, get their item removed from your credit. They must follow the fdcpa.

An attorney on this board said about suing midland credit management. Take a look.
