If you have an address, send them a debt validation letter. If you did not take a loan out with them, demand a refund for the $616 that they already pulled from your account. Did you take out a payday loan from some other company? Sometimes they will change names.

evans97, you cannot go to jail for defaulting on a payday loan, be charged with a criminal record, and you have not committed fraud. These are just some scare tactics that these thugs use to scare you into paying them more money!

Slow down, do NOT panic, u are NOT going to jail! But u do need to see if this is indeed ur pay day loan. First and foremost give us some more information and i'm sure you will get lots of help here to work your way out of this!

Oh my goodness! It is really frustrating that companies can get away with making those types of threats. Especially if they are not your lender. I cannot wait until their practices are either banned or more regulated. I guess everyone needs to continue to file complaints.

Did you take out a pdl with Nationwide? If so that is Ambassador. Immediaely report them to the AG in your state, the ftc, the bbb and any other government agency that you see listed here. The Secret Service and ICE.
