i received court papers stating that i was being sued. apparently a law enforcement officer personally delivered this paper work to my parents house. the paper work states that i have 20 days to reply. the paper work comes states that i'm the defendant and cach, llc is the plantiff. has anyone had this happened to them or heard of anything similar to this.

Hi Mike, I don't have any knowledge about this but there is a member who was just taken to court by them very recently and she can tell you all about her experience. I am going to send her a message and she will respond as soon as she can and hopefully she can give you some advice and insight on this. What state do you live in by the way? Is CACH a collection agency?

Hey Mike!
Ok i was unfortunate enough to also get sued by CACH! My mistake was a big one! I did NOT answer the summons! Whatever u do answer that summons BEFORE the 20 days! I can help u with that! They're paperwork is sloppy and u CAN beat them on this!
Let me know the details of ur case, state ur in and then we can go from there!
I won't be around tonight but will either answer later or first thing in the morning after i get ur details!
Ask any questions in ur post and i will answer best i can!

Hummm... well Craig, if they've sued u then it has to be in the court system otherwise it's just a threat! But if it's CACH, they WILL sue, they do it all the time. Just make sure u answer the summons once u get served or they will win by default!
If u need help let me know and i can try to help u to answer it!
Good Luck,
Ang
