It will be removed when you challenge it but will be put back 30 days later if it is substantiated by the agency. Most agencies do not have the personnel to resolve disputes. They are cube farms of collectors that sit in front of computers and try to collect from as many people as they can to meet quotas. If it does get pput back on wait and challenge it again. By that time you paperwork will be filed away and none will want to take the time to look for it.
