A law firm is keep sending letters to collect from someone who never lived at my address but the last name is the same with mine.Can anyone give me a text letter to sent back to the law firm and stop this harassment ? Thanks .

If they are sending letters addressed to a name that is not yours, simply write on the envelope "Addressee unknown" and drop it back in the mailbox. The post office will return it to them and they should get the message. Technically, you should not open mail that is not addressed to you anyway. Not trying to sound rude here, but . . . if it's not addressed to you, don't open it and send it back.

This sounds like a sloppy skip trace turned up your address. You must be the closest person with the same name as the real debtor. If you write to them, tell them not to send collection letters to your address anymore.

There are many collection agencies that trap innocent people by calling them and forcing them to pay the debts that they never owed. Do not fall into such tricks. In my opinion you should send them a debt validation letter and a cease and desist letter via certified mail with a return receipt request.
