hi, they are all online. I got $350 from Cashnet USA, $200 from Fast Wire Cash, $200 from Payday OK, $300 from Payday Select, and $300 from Cash Central. I live in Minnesota. I was too embarassed to go to any of the stores so I got them all on the internet.

DiRandall, this is a non-embarrassment zone, OK? You did what you had to do to feed your kids and there's nothing wrong with that.
First off, my deep condolences over the loss of your husband. That had to be and I'm sure is still devastating to you. And I know that you are tough and a survivor and will get through this.
What we really need to get from you now is how much you have actually paid on these loans, fees and all. You will probably be floored as to how much you have actually paid. Once we see that, we will know where you are at and can go from there.
Again, welcome! And we have ALL been there, myself included.

Di, I am so sorry to hear about your husband and that you have gotten sucked into the pdl trap. Many of us have been there. Heck, some of us are still there! If you answer the questions above we will be able to help you! And ks is right, there is no need to be embarassed!

I too am stuck in pdl messes left and right..the people here know so much and WILL be able to help. In a couple of weeks you will be on the right track. Please do not feel embarrassed. I am another who has been in that rap until I found this site. It is important to tell us how much you have paid them so far. You should also open a new checking account and get a live check from your employer. You have to prioritize. Feeding your kids and paying your necessities comes first. The loans come last. You will probably have to close that account and deal with them on your own terms. You may even owe them nothing according to the laws of your state. Go to www.paydayloaninfo.org and you will find your states laws there. I would post them for you but I am on an ustable computer and if I try to navigate back and forth it will freeze.

Di ~ so sorry to hear about your husband. I also was in the pdl trap from having surgery and us loosing my paycheck and such. It is a vicious cycle but it can be gotten out of. Let us know how much you have paid each of the payday loan places. Also, as was mentioned, you may want to close out your account so you can have some control over your money. Since these are all internet payday loans, the odds are they are not licensed to do business in your state, but someone will help you with that. But do consider closing that account. You need to take care of the necessities first and worry about those loans last. And please do not feel embarrassed. So many of us have been in your place and have gotten help here.

Hey Hfer,
If you register with us, you get a free phone call with a counselor. It sounds kinda like the phone call you get when you go to jail :o but it really can help. I suggest that maybe you consider it??

I have to go to my bank tomorrow on my lunch and find out how much I have paid these places then I can answer everyone. I looked up the laws but I dont really understand them. I get paid on Friday but I have to pay my electric bill and I am scared that I wont be able to. They wont give me any more extensions so I might have to get another loan and I don't want to. What is going to happen if I can't pay the loans back?

Di,
I am SO glad you registered with us! Now we can help each other. And you asked what's going to happen with your PDL's...well, they are going to harass you to death, for starters.
Since they are all IPDL's, they probably aren't licensed in your state, which is good for you, since they won't risk taking you to court.
We really need to see how much you've actually paid on the loans before deciding what the next step will be . In the meantime, pay that light bill!

My condolences to you on losing your husband,, you will get out of this, there is a end in sight and this site is the way to go,, I know that Payday Select and Payday OK were the easiest to deal with, for me anyways, I just copied and pasted my state laws and sent them in an email and they responded with something like " we are sorry to hear you weren't happy with our services, please know that we have marked your account "paid in full" I never heard from them again and they did not try and debit my account any further. Stick around here, you will be able to get it all figured out,,, just remember to always keep enough for your housing, utilities and food,, the rest can wait,, priority #1 is you and your kids!
