Clarification on Ohio Payday Law

So, after spending countless hours on the phone today, I just thought I'd make everyone aware that Ohio DOES NOT have anything written in law to require repayment plans. I spoke to 3 people at the Department of Commerce and another 2 people at the Attorney Generals Office. ALL said that there is nothing in regards to a repayment plan for Ohio residents. And before everyone says differently please feel free to call 614-728-8400 and find out for yourself. I don't mean to be the bearer of bad news, but for the last two weeks I was being told different on here until I became so frustrated that I just called.

Yes, it's nice that you have got the queries directly from the lawmakers and other govt places. Make sure that you know the company is licensed in your state and they are adding the legal charges on your account.

Rep II. I have also ran into collectors at Express Payday and Checksmart (sister companies) who have reiterated your comments. HOWEVER, they also said that there is no such law that says they I am allowed to revoke their right to continually withdrawal from my account. This, I am told, is not true AT ALL.
Did the Dept. of commerce/ AG's office offer anything in a way of a help with these companies?
