If I wanted to make a deal with credit card companies to pay in full the account if they'll lower the amount owed, is that possible? Also, if I were to use your service would it have any negative impact on my credit, because I have never been late and have good credit.

Hi kimh1949

Welcome to the forums. If you can negotiate with your creditors proficiently and convince them that you are ready to pay the full amount of your debt, the creditors will most likely eliminate the financial charges, late fees from the total amount. This will give you a reduced amount that needs to be paid to your creditors.

Also, make sure that the creditors report your accounts as "paid in full" or 'paid as agreed" to the credit bureaus. Your credit report should not show the status "Agreed" as it is a derogatory remark and will stay on your file for a period of 7 years.

Using the services of the consolidation program will make your repayment process easier and the consultant will be able to proficiently negotiate with your creditors.

You will have peace of mind as the consultant will be doing all the needful on your behalf and ultimately ensure that your accounts are reported to the credit bureaus in the best of your interests.

debt consolidation program does not have a negative impact on your credit report. It enhances the scoring after all the payments are made with your creditors and you will be able to acquire new credit worthiness.

You can also enter into a free counseling with the trained consultant who will be offering you various options on your debt repayment process.
