I have some where around 9 PDL's. Unfortunitely I can't remember who they are all with. I do know:

CashNetUSA
NetCashUSA
Arrowhead Investment
CMG Group
SGQ (it's something like that)
OneClickCash

I can feel for those who have been threatened by "Collection" people for CMG Group! I got a call last Thurs. threatening me about being taken to FL, taken to court, and jail time from a guy named Daniel Wright! He was so rude and ignorant! He called while I was out of the office and left the message with a co worker of mine: "You might go to jail today". She was so upset and worried about this. When I called him back to see what was going on he told me the same thing if I didn't pay them $580 in 30 mins! When I asked for information on where to send it to he wouldn't tell me. He said that he'd tell me that once I had the money to send!

I went to my boss to see about getting a pay advance which he gave me. Well this Daniel called back 3 more times while I was in with my boss. It upset my boss and HE called this guy back to find out all the information that I needed and this guy threatened my boss and wouldn't let him get a word in eadge wise. Well my boss told him that the call was being recored twice. The second time this Daniel guy hung up on him!

Thankfully I haven't heard anything else from this guy, but it still worries me and bugs me! I live in PA and I'm not sure what the laws are on PDl's.

Would some1 be so kind as to help me and also help me with a good company to help settle all this that's not going to cost me another arm and a leg!
Thanks!

Thanks finfan! I'm really getting frustrated and feeling lost. :(

I can't believe I let myself get sucked into this mess like I did!

Isn't there somewhere you can file a complaint against this company for calling your place of employment, leaving messages with co-workers regarding your personal business, and also for threatening and harrassing your boss and yourself? This is illegal.

I am a big believer in filing with the BBB. You can do it on line. It's easy and they contact the company and act as a "go between" with you and the company. At the very least, you can put a complaint in against the company for calling your place of employment and threatening/harrassing you and your co-workers. I'm sure, though, that there HAS to be another agency you can file a complaint with regarding this collection attempt. You can also send them a letter via email, fax, mail stating that they are NOT permitted to call your place of employment again. You can state that they are only permitted to contact you via email or USPS, no exceptions. But there HAS to be another agency that you can report this abuse to. Anyone out there know of which agency she can file a complaint with???? I do know that you can state in your complaint to the BBB that the company is only to contact you via email or USPS. But send a letter to the company. That way you have documentation that you will not respond to any more telephone calls. But their tactics are totally illegal!

My boss did tell them via phone that they can not call my place of employment any more. I just can't get over all the accusations they threw at me and my boss!

I've been on the BBB site, and checked into that, but I don't know the mailing address' for the companys. All they give me is money gram information. And they keep bugging me for my new checking account info!!!! My bank was great, they closed my old account and opened a new one for me in the same week!

kit, do NOT give them your new account information! Lord have mercy! Post on here what the companies are. Someone, believe me, will have an address or some sort of contact information for you. If you can list them, you'll get responses. You can also try looking them up on the BBB by name, by phone number, by website address, etc. If you come up with nothing using all the info. you have, post on here and someone will have the info. for you. At least a phone number or address. Hang in there and check back. You might have some answers on here!
