OneClickCash update

So, I called OneClick this morning to find out the status of my e-mail to them basically telling them that I was preparing my complaint to the NYS AG, and revoking their authorization to debit my account anymore, etc.
The CS rep told me that my e-mail had been forwarded to their "compliance department" and that they would be contacting me.
Has anyone had this experience? Do you think I'm on the right track?
Yes, that is pretty normal. CS reps can't really do much . . .

Since I have paid them in full plus $250 in interest, maybe they will just back off and mark my account as paid in full. But, seeing the track record these guys have, I won't hold my breath.

jenn, yes, now you're email has been forwarded to the compliance department at one click cash. Now they will be the ones to send you nasty "form letters". Now they will be the ones to send lies in "form letters" in response to the BBB. I hate to be a "downer" here, but I just want you to know what to expect. MTE has "complaince departments" at each of their pdl's. Every single one of them uses the same response "form letters". Just tailored to fit your dollar amounts. You'll get emails from them asking for outrageous amounts above and beyond your loan amount. They will give you a deadline to Money Gram the payment. Blah, blah, blah. Been there - done it, and seen it 1,000 times. They suck. Remember, they are MTE.

Jen - I would click on the Live help link to the right of the screen - Even though they aren't online right now, someone will be able to email you with what you should do so you can sign in again.

Yes it is a start with them. You will be going back and forth with e-mails more times. I did this, then I finally gave them a date to accept my offer or I will contact my DFi and we will consider my account PIF. Well when that one was sent to them, they finally accepted my offer. I knew I still owed them money but not what they said I did. I subtracted NSF fees and I stated that how many times they tried to debit my account in one month and that was against the law in my state. then gave them the amount I was willing to pay. But it did take about 10 e-mails for them to accept plus a complaint to the BBB. Good luck and stand your ground with these people. They do not like informed consumers.

Hey Cannr,
I was reading through some of your older posts and see you are battling them as well. I had a question for you, once you send them the letter (or email in my case) revoking their authorization to debit your accounts, etc, do they still attempt to do so?
Thanks in advance for any advice. You guys are so great on here, I feel blessed to have found these forums!

I can tell you that it is very rare for a pdl to actually honor your request and not debit your account. You really need to close your bank account to stop them from taking more money. See this thread:

if you haven't already about some important info regarding closing your bank account.

Hi Goudah,
The problem is, my direct deposit is due to go in tonight, and it is too late for me to cancel it. I can't close the account until sometime early next week.
So, I guess it's safe to say, despite my telling them otherwise, they will probably attempt to take the money out.
Yeah - Sorry to say this, but they probably will. The one thing
Yeah - Sorry to say this, but they probably will. The one thing you could try is going to the bank tomorrow and disputing the transactions - Take the letters you wrote revoking authorization as proof. You may be able to get your money back that way.

Oh God. They will debit you to DEATH. I hate to agree with everyone here, but it is the truth. You can expect to see it sucked out of your account. They kept trying OVER AND OVER AND OVER on my account, which had a hard debit block on it so they couldn't get squat. They didn't stop. EVIL!

If they are the same company as United Cash Loans, they will keep debiting even after your account was closed!!! They told me last time I talked to them that they were still trying to debit my CLOSED account because that is their "normal collection procedures!!"

that cracks me up. Really, it does. NORMAL, what's so normal about a company that rips people off week after week. Yeah, right!!!
scripts
If anyone else has noticed - as I have - that when contacted by these people, I swear, they are reading from a script. I can swear to you. And they stutter if they get stuck on a word. Famous for the overseas pdl's. Also, if anyone else has noticed - I'm sure you have - they all send out form letters. Same wording to every single response and to every single person. Apparently Procedure #1 - Debit a closed account - is on page one. Procedure #2 - Stutter that you must abide by OUR state laws - is on page 2. And Procedure #3 - Copy and paste this form letter to the customer - is on page 3. So, maybe they have THREE pages in their "Employee Handbook". I mean, honestly!
