I have a hold on my bank account requested by Asset Acceptance.Despite the fact that i'm the head of household,the attorney i have contected for advice told me not to lose more money trying to fight it.He said that I should ask Asset Acceptance to send me the necessary papers to sign that i agree for them to take what i owe, and release the rest of the money.
It is more than a week since I call them every two days requesting this,and I don't receive anything.
Is there any way to force them to move faster,and have again acces to my bank account?

I'm curious how they got a hold on your account in the first place. Did they get a judgment against you? Did you provide them with your account info voluntarily?
