I have 2 checking accounts and one closed because I had a overdraft and they added daily fees to it and am unable to pay. They just closed it and are going to send it to collections. What will happen with my other checking account from a different bank? Will they take from it or close it?

It is possible - But unlikely. What will usually happen is the bank that closed the account will report you to chexsystems. If your other bank happens to do a "sweep" of accounts and finds your new chex report, they could close your account. But most banks normally only do the sweeps on accounts that are less then 6 months old.

If the other account is more the 6 months old you should be okay.
