Anyone settled with Discover and Chase?

Can you tell me what to expect from them? Discover already calls me about 8 times per day, wondering what will happen after signing with a settlement company?

I had Discover and Chase when I went to a debt consolidation company. However they recommended Bankruptcy to me. It was my other CC (MBNA) that the company said they had problems with, I think Discover and Chase will work with them.
