It's true; there was a certain man who stifled all collection agency attempts to collect on a rightfully owed debt. However, one day that man died and he died in sin for failing to meet his obligations. Now, he is burning in Hell.

Pay your debts.

Guest-that is what we all are trying to do here-pay our debts. The problem comes when you have 2 or 3 agencies trying to collect for the same debt. That's when you want to get validation to prove who is legally able to to collect. Since I have been on this forum, I have paid off all my debts, and am down to one debt, and am paying that one. The problem for many here is, not re-paying the debt, but making sure it is with who it is suppossed to be, and that we not suffer abuse or threats in trying to do so..Karen

I think that this is all the same person posting this rubbish. I think that collectors should be able to look themselves in the mirror with complete confidence that their own actions wont be cause for God's wrath, before saying one word to anyone else. I think this collector is a coward for having to hide behind anonymity to say these things. If collector really had a good point, he wouldnt have to hide behind teh big bad intarweb to say it like this.

And finally, I think that collector's parents used to punish him by leaving the plunger in the toilet bowl, and possibly still do.

Forgive Us Our Debts
As we forgive our debtors...

You know it seems to me God is a lot more forgiving of our financial failures than bill collector's.

I'm not into believing in a literal "Hell" myself, but if there was one? Well, I would think it's the bill collectors etc who will likely end up there first.

God doesn't seem to be too big on usury or people who don't forgive debts when asked.

5 " If you lend money to any of My people who are poor among you, you shall not be like a moneylender to him; you shall not charge him interest.
26 "If you ever take your neighbor's garment as a pledge, you shall return it to him before the sun goes down.
27 "For that is his only covering, it is his garment for his skin. What will he sleep in? And it will be that when he cries to Me, I will hear, for I am gracious. (Exodus 22:25-27)

There's more, Matthew 18 has a good parable or two also on the subject...

Go ahead, have a read...

You might find it...enlightening...
