If you are speaking of the Cash Call that is based in California
If you are speaking of the Cash Call that is based in California and has ads all over tv....the answer is yes, they can pursue you legally for default, in that they can attempt to take you to court, obtain a judgement against you, and after that, attempt to garnish your wages.
Not trying to scare you, just stating facts - they have the power to do this because they are backed by a bank and are licensed - they're not operating illegally.
They are not a payday lender, they are backed by a bank. Their interest rates are outrageous, but unfortunately, no governmental body has seen fit to stop them from lending yet...so they continue.
I wish I had better news for you...if I'm wrong about this, someone please post a correction, but to my knowledge, Cash Call can and will pursue legal action on defaulted accounts.
