I got a payday loan online and I live in NC, they are still taking funds out of my acct. What is my rights in my state.

kev, US Fast Cash is a **** to deal with (excuse the blunt language). They are part of MTE Financial. They will want you to send in $800 more even if you've already overpaid on your loan. They will not acknowlege they are part of MTE (they are). They will lie to the government agencies (they have). They will hound you and harrass you. You need to send them a letter email/fax/mail telling them they are illegal and you've already paid your loan. You need to also tell them not to contact you via telephone. Tell them the only correspondence shall be via email or USPS. Tell them you revoke their priviledges of debit authorization (they will continue to debit anyway), revoke any wage assignment you may have signed with them. Send them an email/fax/mail. Your mail will be returned. Mine was. They eventually blocked my emails because I hounded them so much, so I just faxed the hell out of them. They will continue to debit your account even though you tell them to stop. But send the letter so that you will have documentation that you informed them to stop. You need to close your account. I swear to you, they will debit you until your so far in the hole and then continue to debit you. It'll cause chaos. US Fast Cash is really bad. Please, if at all possible, close your bank account. And send that letter. You need documentation. And questions or needed help, just post! We're here to help you!

kept2 ~ I also live in NC. I just did a long respond for fourchildren on her thread for payday loans in NC. Please go to her thread and it see what you need to do. As stated, you should pay back the principal of what you borrowed. Do get that bank account closed though so you can gain control over your finances and please go to the other NC payday loan thread.
