I have been on the wrong antidepressant for four years. During this time I collected debt with credit cards and of course medical bills. I did not pay them because my depression was so bad that I did not think I would survive to be 25 years of age. I am now 22 and I am drowning in debt. My medication is corrected and I feel great. Everything is great execpt my debt and credit score. I am going to be a full time college student mid-August, and I need to find a way to get out of debt. I am stressed from the credit card phone calls, and the amount I owe but the monthly payment is too high to afford. I feel stuck. I really pray someone can help me...

I have mild depression, and I know that this medical condition (at any level) can make it difficult sometimes to do or be concerned about even the most important tasks - like paying bills. debt consolidation or settlement may be appropriate for you. See your phone book for a non-profit credit counselor near you.
