I got lucky with my bank, I was in the chex system, or atleast my SSN was used by someone with a very strange name in Indiana, and the bank office was in Ohio, and I've never been to either state. They opened an account for me though I think because small towns are more trusting and because who I was employed by.

I didn't even know there were banks that didn't check the system. But Goudah has helped me out a lot so do go check it out.

Yeah goudah has really good information on getting an account if you are in chexsystems and if there is not a bank on her list in your area, she will help you find one!!!
