I received a charge on my checking account from usa benefits for 9.95 .I did not authorize this.I received an email from them about 3 weeks ago about receiving a free credit report from them and I emailed them back and told them I was not interested.
I think they got my checking account information from a payday loan company that I had used. How can I get my money back.My paycheck had not been deposited yet so I also got a 30 dollar fee from them charging my checking account.I emailed them again but have not received any response.I have never even logged into this site to register with them.
Thanks for your help ,It seems like every step I take forward,I take two backwards.

this happened to me too but the charge was 19.95 not 9.95. I've been calling for 2 days and after holding for 30 min each day someone will come on the phone and try to transfer me to another individual and i'll get hung up on. no more games today though, i will contact whoever i have to to bring them down

On 1/24/06 the amount of $9.95 was deducted from my acct. This deduction was not authorized. DO NOT DEDUCT ANYTHING FROM MY ACCT!!!!!!!! YOU DO NOT HAVE ANYONE'S PERMISSION IN THIS HOUSE TO DEDUCT THESE FUNDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I also want all money returned to my acct that was deducted !!!!!! If you do not you will be hearing from mt attorney. DO YOU UNDERSTAND!!!!

Lissascrazymom,

This is debt consolidation care forum. You should forward your complaint to the company that deducted money from your account.

If you browse this forum, you will find lots of people complaining on them. try to contact USA Benefits and ask them what is the procedure to cancel the dealings with them.

Also speak to your bank and see what they recommend to stop unsolicited debits.

Contact USA Benefits and see if they can so anything to cancel the contract. Everything should be written you must retain copies of cancellation.

Also contact your bank and inquire if they can help you to stop these debits. Browse this forum???lots of information are scattered here and there. Hope this will help.

They got me too. I'm tee'd off. and I never even got the payday loan. I had to call my bank and dispute and put a stop on the electronic withdrawal. It's a shame it's that easy for them to take money out.

Helen,

Contact your bank and explain the debits made by USA Benefits. I am sure they must be aware of this happening in other accounts as well. Request them to place a dispute with the company. If the company fails to verify the dispute, money might be refunded to you.

I need the name of a debt consolidation company that will accept payday loans. I have about 6 that I need to pay off. Other than 1 or 2 CC's. This is all of overdue debt.

I have been hit with this since end of Ocotber and had no idea. Wasn't getting my bank statements due to moving, and then when I saw it I thought it was for my TV pymt. Finally called and found it was for this thing. I have no idea who they are. I got through quickly and they gave me a cancellation number, name, and extension. We will see if it worked. Also they have been charging me $19.95 plus overdrafts. (no wonder I can't seem to get control of this account.)

Call your bank and tell them that you have a suspicious debit. Get the info from your bank statement of this transaction. The bank will do the rest. The bank will credit your account.

Amani, talk to your bank and change the account number. Debits from USA Benefits are disputed. Your bank will work out arrangements for you so that money doesn't go to them anymore. Usa Benefits needs to prove the debits they are doing. Ask your bank to dispute the items directly with the company. If the information is not verified, the company needs to revert the money back into your account.

Just the other morning I went online to check out my bank account. I found a $9.95 charge to it. Which put my account in the red. I immediatley started checking out the name of this. Which of course was USA Benifits. I did find this place and found out that I was not the only one that was taken advantage of. I feel that USA Benifits is twisted  and I felt very angry :x . I thank all of you whom left your messages letting me and others know how to take care of this situation. I did call the 800 num which was left and had the post that had all the information available to use in case I got someone whom did not want to agree to give me my monies back. Like it was suggested I did write down the name of whom I spoke with and the confirmation number she gave me. If in the time frame my monies has not been returned to me I will get back in touch with them.

I to was a victim of usa benefits for 7 months without knowing. I called them today when I noticed this, and am supposed to be receiving a full refund for all 7 months. It took me threating filling a fraud complaint with my bank, before they agreed to refund my money. As soon as I mentioned filling a fraud complaint that changed there whole attituded and agreed to refund my money as long as I agreed not to fill a complaint with my bank. That really tells me they are a fraud and yes I'm still going to talk to my bank to see if they can investage this so called company. And hopefully I can help someone else from getting ripped off.

I just looked at my bank account USA Benefits has taken 9.95 out of my account TWICE! Like all of you, I got a payday loan, and a free credit report from Experian. This is a prime example of the way of the future. Until we all get smart and stop spilling our guts on the internet, we'll be victimized this way. I struggle to support my family, and these Internet Bandits take every advantage they can get. I'm going to call USA Benefits tomorrow and see what they have to say about this and other websites that are reporting fraudulent account debits from this 'company'.

Shouldn't these people get sued? I just looked at my account online, and I got that charge. How in the hell is it legal?? Why aren't they being sued?

I never got a pay day loan applied for one a year ago Just realizing it has been coming out of my account sine may of 2005! I know this sounds stupid but I never payed attention to my bank stament! I dont have a lot of money I have been behind on some bills I have late charges and fees and really dont pay attention to the stament because I already know Ive messed up! well now I actually started balancing a check book and find out they have been taking 9.95 for ayear!I called the bank the bank gave me their number I called usa benefits and they told me there is nothing they can do they didnt even know who I applied a loan from! I never got a loan! They said they would give me my money for the last six months and they normal wouldnt do that. well I said if your so sure I accepted this agreement why would you give me back money??? I said no I want to take this further because its not about money as much as the principal. They said they would send me some forms to fill out "ok you cant tell me where I authorized this from but if I fill out a piece of paper you can figure this out?" NO! I will find a lawye this cant be legal! You cant take money from someones account and not have authorization for it! I will keep you posted for my results. Meanwhile you should pursue the same

Thanks for this website with the phone number and information concerning this scam. I was able to reach someone and verify all that you wrote and discontinue this service that I was supposedly getting. No refund for my bounced account. This is such a crock.

I got this charge too, and though I had investigated payday loans, I never actually went through with it! Unfortunately I may have filled out some silly information... AAAARRRGHH. This does NOT seem legal since I never went through with the loan. Where can I complain?

Thanks so much for posting these messages. I received a charge on my account that I couldn't account for. After looking into it, I found that the withdrawl was made by this company, and I don't remember authorizing or subscribing. I too had registered for a payday loan on the internet and I guess I didn't read the fine print. Thanks to this site though I now know what and who I amdealing with. I have learned two important lessons. The first is that being very particular about reading my statement is more than important, and second, ALWAYS READ THE FINE PRINT! I will hopefully be able to get in touch with a human being and cancel this subscription ASAp.
Thanks again,
Grateful

Husband 'inquired' about a payday loan, and the jerks just debited his acct $19.95. Needless to say, he will be disputing it.
