I just pulled my credit reports from the 3 major bureau's. On bad accounts, why do they not show "date of last payment"? Seems all they show is date account was closed by the original creditor and the charge-off date. I have one account that shows a charge-off date almost 2 years AFTER I know I made the last payment. I thought they generally charge-off after 180 days. (?) Of course the account was sold to a CA who is making it look like a brand new account. This made me suspicious because I am learning from posts on here that the "clock" for SOL's starts at "charge-off", NOT the date of last payment.

There's a column in the credit report that mentions "the date of last payment" on each account. The SOL is renewed from the DOLA, not from the date when the account was charged off or updated by the CA. Check the dates of reporting of each item because your credit report must show your actual credit history. Any disputed information should be notified to the bureaus and put to investigation.
