American Liberty Financial

Do not use this company. They will steal your money from your trust account and use for their own purposes. I was stationed overseas and when I returned I looked at my account and I have had several debits from my account payable to American Liberty Financial but no settlements. While I was in Iraq, I had paid over 5k into my escrow account thinking I was nearly paid off with my creditors. I have not settled one account to date and I have a grand total of $257.00 in my account.

This all took place within the past few months. James Lombardo was handling my accounts from the beginning and I was very confident that I would have a good experience with American Liberty. When I called American Liberty last month, when I returned I also learned that James Lombardo left the company and the person I spoke to outright slandered Mr. Lombardo. I was shocked at just how unprofessional and rude this person appeared. When I needed questions answered, I received nothing but vague responses. I was basically given the run around. Before all this happened and Mr. Lombardo was still employed with ALF, I always received a very accurate response and I never felt worried about anything. Mr. Lombardo gave me exactly what I was looking for when consulting a debt settlement company but now I cant figure out where my money went, how I am to get it back and how to report this company let alone, how to deal with my credit card debts. They are blatantly stealing money from their clients and I seriously doubt that I am the only one this has happened to.

I have read all too many times that working with a debt company will leave you in a worse position then when you first started. I did not think I would be saying the same when I first joined this program.

I am not looking for responses to this post. I am simply looking to warn those considering American Liberty Financial. If anyone knows James Lombardo, perhaps he is with another company or started his own, I would greatly appreciate it if someone could forward me his contact info.
