Concert Update

I worked Lyle Lovett/KD Lang on Sunday--and it was one of the best shows I have ever been to. I had the honor of being in the house for most of the show. I have always loved KD Lang, and now I am a confirmed Lyle Lovett fan. He was smart, intelligent and really rocked the house with music from all styles: from Bluegrass to Rock. Plus his Large Band was GREAT!!!!! I was also able to get $5 vouchers for my friends, which made me feel good. If you have a chance to see this show, GO!!!!!!!!!
Plus, my leg, which has been giving me fits, actually behaved for most of the show, which was great--and I only had to deal with one jerk, which was even better!
The next show is going to be different: It's Rush, this Friday--and HILLARY DUFF :cry: comes next Saturday. Give me strength.......

I don't want to seem to be a "name dropper" but I have talked to Lyle Lovett as well. He is a very intelligent fellow. In the late 1980s and early 1990s, his bass player was a friend.
All that being said, I'd say that you still have one of the coolest jobs around. I hope not to date myself, but I saw Rush in a small arena which might have sat 500 people during their 2112 Tour, when they left out the synthesizers and were still just a three-peice rock band. It rocked.

But, since I am a warm, wonderful person :D I am able to get $5 vouchers for my venue, depending on the show--and if you're interested, since I know you are close to me, PM me and I can tell you what's coming and what I can get, OK? I had 4 extra vouchers for Lyle, which you would have been welcome to this weekend, but I bet I can get them for Hillary, lol....

My previous offer to Law Student goes for anyone on the boards in Northern California. If you are interested in possibly getting a $5 voucher for a great show, PM me and I will tell you where my venue is (I think probably anyone in the Bay Area can guess) and what's coming up. If I can get vouchers, I will need your mailing address to send them to you. You bring them to the box office, pay your $5 and you either get a lawn seat or a seat in the shell, depending on sales.
