I have been reading posts for acople of days and joined. I am in so far over my head I can not sleep or eat. Most of my paycheck is going toward pdls. On top of that I am mad at myself for getting into this mess. I so want to put and end to this but have no idea how to begin and much of what you are talking about is new to me. I have been researching T&C and Langhorn but am not sure if it would be better to go through a company or work on this myself. I am afraid if they start calling my work I will loose my job and I do not want to have to explain any of this to my boss. My pdls are internet companies and I live in KY. Any advice would be a blessing.

SUZI!!! Yes, yes, yes!!! :D I'm am jumping up and down here at work! Amazing to have your whole paycheck! You can actually pay your bills and buy some food! How about putting gas in your car! OMG! I'm thrilled!! And, you got stuff in writing! You go, girl! And, just for the hell of it, buy something nice for yourself - pretend it's just a "fee" taken out by a pdl! I'm sooooooo happy for you! :D

I knew you would be!!! And you can bet I am going to do something nice for me...

On another note..is there a web site address for GFSIL. I want to send my letter, they are scheduled to debit on Thursday. I mailed it but want to send one on the web as well. Also, since I can not get the address to lazer lending, can I still give a copy of the cease and desist to my HR. That is the only one I have not given them because of no address. Although I am sure they will be contacting me this week. As for the in wiritng part..I also sent a reply e-mail to my bank asking them to calm my fears about my account and asked if the account could be forced open and could they be linked etc..and got another reply in writing stating exactly what she had done and the old account could not be open etc.. So if anyone else is having a hard time getting it in writing or does not want to ask directly, this may be another way. She replied directoly on my e-mail so I have my questions and her response.

suzi, you are the woman! First of all, could you please post the website for GSFIL? I'm sure it would help a lot of people. That would be great if you could! And emailing your bank, awesome! Got the questions in writing, got the answers in writing! Okay, I'm going to start taking lessons from YOU! I'm so happy for you. Go buy a new purse. Get your toes done. Hell, buy something for me! LOL!

My toes done..now that is an idea!! I LOVE a good pedicure  I do not have the web site for GFSIL..I was hopeing someone else would. Two more things.. Where exactly do I file with the KY AG..on the website under File a COnsumer Complaint? And then which area do I file with and what address do I use. I know I do not have enough info yet to file with them, I just want to start getting everything in writing. The second...I have mailed and e-mailed my letters, is faxing too a good idea? as I have read recently some of the addresses are no good. Also, a bit of good news, the HRM manager called and told me she did not need all the letters, kept one as an example and said she would notify me if they received anything. She assured me they would not do anything unless there is a court order...wich we all know is not likely to happen. :D Well off to continue my quest with the BBB.

suzi, that's why I was excited about GSFIL! I thought maybe you had "dicovered" something that would thrill us all! These overseas illegal ones, you can still file a complaint on. You can use all the information that you have. Their name/website/telephone/fax. Anything that you have, use it. When you're filing your complaints to our state AG, you'll need to download the form, fill it out, and send 2 copies in to them. Go to the website, go to Consumer Protection, then File A Complaint. The form will come up for you to print out.

suzi, I need to stress to you to file GSFIL with the FTC. You can do this on line.

Have a great time shopping!! Cannr is right, you need to file any and all complaints you can. If more and more people start not only filing complaints with them, their senators, and congressmen, maybe someone will get the hint!

I e-mailed my
senators and Congressmen about a CC debt that had a $780. balance in 1987, and as of a year and a half ago, has a $3000.00 balance, with us making payments, and not charging anything for 15+ years!! Good Luck- let us know how the letters go!..Karen :D

suzi, no. It just says "if" you have them to attach them. Some of mine were "verbal agreements", nothing to attach! So just give as much detail as you can. The loan date, the loan amount, how much they debited, etc. It's okay. Just give them as much information as you can.
