I will, but do you think anyone here has or is going through this also. I have been dealing with this since Nov.06 and am so tired. Donkt know what else to do. I feel like I am trying to knock down the Empire State building with a gum ball. Please, someone, help.

I thought the credit reporting agencies had to find proof within 30 days( of your request to remove) or take it off your report?? And if they do find proof they have to supply it to you...right??

Its such a mess. I went around and around with all the credit agencies and wells fargo. I really do have an account; the original that I started with, and I have never missed a payment since I got the car on July 11, 2003. They gave everyone new account numbers in Nov.06, and never combined the old account to the new account so I have two seperate accounts which both are seriously wrong. I have sent letters, copies, faxes, phone calls to all credit agencies and to wells farg, and all they do is say that they and the credit agencies are correct and i am wrong. Im so confused. Someone please help.

I would advise going online to review your credit report (annualcreditreport.com is free once per year or when you've been denied credit), and disputing the items online. If you haven't done that yet, try that. That forces the credit bureaus to take the information back to the creditor and ask them if it's correct. If they come back and say it's correct, then you can enter a "consumer's statement" on your credit report on both entries explaining the situation.
You can also attach a special statement to your reports online that any creditor will see when they pull your report - you could explain this situation there as well.

If you have proof of your side of the story, I would mention that in the statement. I would also try to meet with someone from Wells Fargo personally and show them that proof and let them prove your account was charged off if it wasn't.
