ARM responded to my BBB complaint

It stated I had received a letter (which I didn't) and then documented them calling me once and me returning the call.

I'm not sure what this all means. I turned Paycheck Today into the AG and BBB so I'll wait and see what happens. I received this by mail on Friday however, ARM showed up on my caller id (at work no less) on Wednesday.
Since when do collection agencies go away because you tell them the company owes you????

ARM is a nasty company to deal with. I contacted my states DFI and they sent out a letter to them and ARM responded with a bunch of BS. I then contacted paycheckktoday and let them know I filed complaints with the state and the BBB. I e-mailed them EVERYDAY and then they finally contacted me back and accepted my settlement offer (I did still owe them) But I would e-mail paychecktoday everyday to every e-mail addy that you have and let them know that you filed complaints against them and that if they accept your offer of at least a PIF (a refund would be nice, but I doubt you will get one from them) you will stop the complaints (at least with the BBB) and that they have to tell ARM to back off. After paychecktoday accepted my offer ARM hasn't tried to contact me at all.

thats basically the response i got from them too. the whole complaint with the bbb was pretty much worthless. i did send them a c&d and the calls stoped for awhile. then all the sudden started back. i asked them if they were aware there is a c&d on my file, she said yeah but thats for paychecktoday, she said i'm calling about cash advance network. sounded pretty fishy to me but i went ahead and sent them another c&d and so far i havent received a call in about a week. basically the bbb didnt do anything, i would try filing a complaint with your state ag and ftc before the bbb.
