Cosigned for a vehicle for my step daughter. Car was repossed and auctioned. The difference from the auction I had to pay. It totalled $5000.00. plus other minor credit problems. They wont take monthly payments. They want the full amount or nothing. Bank wont lend me money to pay this because of my credit report. How do you get by all of this, now that I am able to pay something monthly

Hi James - welcome to the forums!

I am not an expert on debt consolidation, but I would say it wouldn't hurt to see if a debt consolidation company can help you with your debt. Explain the situation with the car repossession. I'm not certain if they can help with that or not - some agencies only work with certain types of debt, but it's worth a shot to ask.

If you signed up for the free consultation when you registered, you'll be receiving a phone call from a consolidation/settlement agency. Check with them to see if they can help - but you are under no obligation to use their services - feel free to check wtih other agencies on our Ranking Chart to see if they can help.

Please feel free to post other questions you may have. I know other members here will post more helpful info if they have it! :-)
