NCO sent me a letter saying they were worried about the security of my identity. As far as I know NCO doesn't even own a debt of mine. Asset Acceptance and Midland have been trying to collect for years on accounts, though.

What are these weasels up to? Just like these other junk debt hustlers, they'll get nothing and like it.

Guest- If they send you anything else, send them a debt validation letter, and make them prove they have an account of yours. Just be sure and never give them, or anyone your personal info. If they are legit, they already have your info. Keep and make copies of everything you get.Keep us posted!..KAren :D

It was strange. It was just a short letter stating that they were concerned about keeping their client's (I didn't know I was one) identities secure. It asked me to verify the letter had arrived to the proper location. It was unmarked on the outside, similar to a credit card offer.

They didn't claim I owed anything in the letter.
