I am sorry to hear about your mess. Perhaps, you have to work hard and raise your earnings. Look for some part time jobs in your area. This additional income will be helpful in making your payments and reduce a lot of stress.

Can you possibley refianance you house at a lower rate and payment? Just a thought on that. Also you might need to close your credit card accounts and see if these people will work with you on payments. Might help to get out of the hole a little bit. If you signed up for the free credit counsultation, someone will get in touch with you. They might be able to offer you some suggestions on what else you can do. Hang in there!!!

How is it that both your taxes and insurance doubled? I would call a bunch of insurance agencies to get a new quote on insurance for starters. The next thing you can do is review the property values in your immediate vicinity and compare them to your property value to see if they raised your rates and no others. You can argue with your local PVA to try and lower your property value which directly relates to the tax they charge you. Make sure you weigh the positives and negatives of this before you try to lower your recorded property value. Most people want their property value to go up not donw even the assesed amount. I have done this before on a car but not my home. You can also have an appriasal company appraise your property to see if it compares to the amount the local government is assesing your property at which will cost you about 300-500. If you go to your local PVA office they have all this information on record and you can access it usually via a computer terminal for free. Some counties even post this information online so you can access it from any where in the world as long as you have an internet connection.
