Got a call from Robert Matthews and when I called back Edward Steele answered. Called 641-237-6598 which apparently has an office in Athens, TN and Jacksonville, FL. They told me I owed on some payday loans gave me a large sum. they gave me a settlement amount. If I didn't call back first of all they wished me good luck oh, and that i needed to call or my attorney. They sent me on a scavanger hunt to try and collect money to be kept from being arrested. He mentioned the word restitution about getting this paid and all that. I got on here and am looking at some of the comments and messages put on here now, wondering well actually not wondering but, coming to think i've been taken by a scam. i googled the number and nothing came up.

Oh yes, the old illegal companies. Don't worry about these crooks, we are all too familiar with them. You have come to the right place to become informed of the illegal tactics of most collection companies. Jacksonville is home to many illegally run collection companies. Most are actually owned by the same people. The first thing that you need to do to rid yourself of these criminals is to ask them for their license number which allows them to collect in YOUR state. You will see that they will become elusive and angry. That is because they do not possess proper licensing to collect outside of their state. We all know about the "call your attorney" or "good luck" lines that they use. These companies should also be reported to your states attorney generals office as well as the AG of the state where these crook reside. If you can, please put the names of the collection companies here.

Ohhhhhh!!!!! I have heard some terrible stories about them. They send you bills that are not yours. And when u call them up, they will say its yours and you have to go ahead and pay it. You can not even ask them to verify it. Because they can not!!! Wait they will even put it on credit report before even validating it???????isn????????t that great!!!!!!!! They are nothing but a brunch of crooks.
