:lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: Another collector has found our board.I will let the other members have fun with this topic. By the way if you actually knew how to collect,you would be attempting to contact consumers thru our board and resolving these so called debts instead of whining!!

I just have to say, guest, that it is members of the collection agencies, like you, that make me glad I found this site.

Regardless of the situation that people have found themselves in or how they got there, they are still people and deserved to be treated as such. No one has the right to talk down to, threaten or debase another human being for any reason, but especially if they are making attempts to correct their mistakes.

I don't believe that this is the place for you, guest, and I am quite sure that others will and do feel the same.

I dont think it is that people on here dont want to pay their debts. I think everyone just wants to be sure they are paying the right people. I have been threatened into paying someone and did so, and they promised paper work saying debt was paid in full, etc. However, i never received anything.

Let me ask you collector guest. Do you yearn for the good old days when you could call in the middle of the night and say "look out the window deabeat I am right outside?" Or tell the kid on his or her way home from school to tell his daddy to pay up or else?
The fdcpa was designed to protect people from that kind of abuse but it still exists. No one here wants to not pay their bills but we should not have to put up with illegal harrassment. Also if a company has charged off the money someone owes them and you bought it for 3 cents on the dollar, why should anyone pay you? They don't owe you anything. Get lost!

What should happen is a law needs to be passed for NO Bonus checks for you collectors.Also you MUST take a school in the FDCPA.If you ever caught braking that law you go to JAIL for 5 years no questions asked.That would make a few of you (collectors) nicer.

Hi guest. I think that not only should collectors take an fdcpa class, but also a class in telephone etiquette and have to be subjected to ridiculous threats for 8 hours straight so that collectors will understand how it feels to be threatened and scared.
Also, if you want to post on this board then the least you could do is respond. That's just yellow if you ask me.

I agree, anyone that doesn't register and leaves comments like that is just too scared to register as a regular user. They just come on here to get everyone riled up. Don't let him ruffle your feathers, if he knew anything about the laws he would stick to them.

I find it very appalling that there are debt collectors out there that think the average person doesn't deserve to get proof of the debt that they are suppose to pay. Get a clue buddy.

No one I know doesn't answer there phone because they are scared it's going to be a debt collector. You must.
