Is there a place where you can get a loan without having to run into payday loan scams, that can loan you money when your credit isn't that great? We just recently refinanced our home and we used the money to catch up on bills that we were behind on, put some of the money into my savings account just in case something happened. That way in case something did happen, we had money to pay our bills, mortgage, etc. Everything was going really good, then my husband lost his job. It took him a while to get another one, and it was a good thing we had the money in the savings to live on. the reason our credit was crappy to begin with before the refinance was because of me out of work because of major medical issues, i had two surgeries, i almost died, job downsizing. My husband just got another job, and he's getting some needed training to get a better job. I work part-time which is better for me physically. Is there any way for me to get a loan? my savings is running out, I'm getting behind, I don't sleep any more. I don't want to wind up like before. if there is a loan company that is legit and can lend to someone with crappy credit who is employed and can pay them back every month, and is NOT a PD loan scam, please let me know. I'm new to this forum, hi guys! :(

yes, it is prosper dot com, but maybe another loan is not the answer and debt consolidation or settelment is. There are several companies that we know about here that maybe able to help you..In the meantime if you would like to list more info. on your situation but not personal names or numbers, please do so and someone will be with you soon.

thanks

Unfortunately, it's tough to get a loan with bad credit. Most financial institutions don't want to go through risk by offering loans to people who are already having hard times in paying their past debts.

I will suggest you to speak to a debt consolidation company. They will combine all your debts under one suitable plan and drop down the interest rates with your creditors. This is not a loan, but this program will take care of your debts and you'll be able to pay everything at affordable interest rates. Speak to a debt counselor and figure out your repayment options. Then, you can enroll in a suitable plan and start becoming debt free.

I am sorry I did a little searching and the only thing I really know about is debt consolidation. Not just getting a loan.
Have you checked your banks rates? Since you have an account with them they might be willing to work with you even though you don't have perfect credit.

Maybe you could search the blogs and see if anyone had gone with a certain online company for a loan.

Good luck with everything and good luck to your husband for his work training.
