Guest, you are one of the few good collectors that come to this site, I agree. If you make a debt; then you should pay for it. I myself have debts that I should not have, and now I am PAYING for them, it is not easy, but I am doing it. I came to this site for help to do just that. I invite anyone who comes to this site to ask for help in paying their debts. Also to get the help they need to deal with the BAD collectors that come to this site to harras or deal their wares. Sir, if you have any advise for us that can be mutulaly benificail, then please let us know.
thanks

Hi guest. I can't recall anyone here asking someone to intentionally get into debt and not pay. Just because we don't promote paying illegal fees, we're bad and immoral people? I think you should check yourself there, guest. Only thieves would steal money which is exactly what happens when innocent people are taken advantage of by illegal debt collectors.

Although I understand your opinion. I don't necessarily agree. I was once a bill collector, and let me just tell you. The harsh world of collecting was not for me. I would get up in the morning and vomit, every single day, before heading out to work. The thought of having to deal with these people really worked on me. The things I was expected to say and do, didn't sit well with my morals. But having been on both sides of the fence, I know what they are going through as well as my feelings of making a living. I made good money at that job, but it was not worth it. Granted, there are people who will try to get over on their debts, while others will try to work them out, and others will be screwed over by their collectors. Not all people on this forum are trying to get out of paying a debt. Nor is this forum condoning making debts and then getting out scott free! This forum is here for the 'little' people who dont know the laws that protect them from scheming companies. Of course there will be people that view this forum and abuse the information, but that is to be expected with anything. There will always be those who think "They owe ME". But please don't make a statement telling us that we should be ashamed, because we have no reason to be ashamed.
BTW, I pay my bills and have never defaulted on a PDL. I do, however know people that have and its because the PDL Companies throw you into a hole thats extremely hard to dig out of. I'm not perfect and some of my accounts are considered 'slow pay' but I am doing the best I can. I'm not made of money and unfortunately 1 minor set back, unexpected expense, emergency, can mess me up for 6 months. Please don't come here to pass judgements, you may one day find yourself in a similar situation and need help. I hope that never happens but it could. Think about that.

Guest let me enlighten you on a few things. This website in no way tells anyone to not pay a debt.We educate people on the laws and procedures so they can get out of their debt situation without getting fleeced by collectors or creditors who ignore laws. The name of our website says it all.We are here to help anyone get out of debt by recognizing that each person has a problem that led to debt and organizing a way to get this load of debt off the person. By the way I owe no default debt of any kind and I billed my boss for 95 hours this week.Average around 91 hours per week.
here we go again. Welcome back, "pay your bills guest
here we go again. Welcome back, "pay your bills guest"...in another form.
This site has never advocated non-payment of legally-owed, verified debts. Period.

Guest, don't sing your dirty song outside your restroom. However, we always welcome people who have something constructive to share. Read some of the latest threads here and you will know that everyone is trying to pay their debts. Their is not one single person who wants to escape their responsibilities. And the advice given here is always good. Look at your words and go through some serious comparison.

OMG, I love it! :D
This site certainly doesn't promote running up debt either.

No one on here in their right mind would tell someone not to pay
No one on here in their right mind would tell someone not to pay a debt that is legitimately theirs. If anything, this forum helps people to understand the reality of what debt is and means. I share the sentiment that if you owe a debt, you are responsible for that debt and should pay it in full.
However, just because people have accrued debt and are behind, does not mean they should be subjected to the bullying that many collection agencies are guilty of. Much of the reason people come to this forum is to educate themselves and seek guidance and support because they have been made to feel like nothing by a collection agency. Instead of talking to the debtor and working out a solution, collectors threaten and demean people into a corner.
The only saving grace I have is that with forums like these, people are becoming educated, are wiser with their finances and their rights as a consumer (and as a human being). The more we learn, the better decisions we will make. The better decisions we make, the lesser the need for collection agencies.
Wake up...people are not racking up credit like they used to...the credit card companies are struggling to keep their customers as well as attract new ones. It's because people are smarter.
