Okay, not being mean. But why do you go out of your way to help some people and then you never hear from them again? I've been busting my butt for a couple of "guests" or "new members" and never hear back again. What's up with that? Had to vent..... Getting miffed over it now.

I hear you there, cannr. I've had to resign myself to understanding that it will happen...a lot.

One that I helped A LOT when they first came recently came back and asked for MORE help with PDL's, because they had gone out and gotten more, when I helped them get out of the mess they were in. I just didn't respond when they posted again...I was irritated, but I didn't say anything.

Thank you! I swear, I'm not trying to be mean. But, my God, you know how much time and effort we put into helping, researching, figuring, etc. They pm the heck out of you. You respond with all the info. and you never hear another word. Or how about the ones that you're in the middle of helping and then go through posts and they've posted 4 more times on the other forums? What the? Okay. It makes you want to say "never mind". But I guess you can't do that! But I'm on the look-out now for posts for the ones I've been sitting here figuring out their law, how much they owe, sending example letters, etc. And "poof" they're gone. Disappeared. And, suebee, I don't blame you for not responding to "new" posts when you've already gotten them out of one mess. I swear, I'm not a mean person. I'm here to help people. But when some do this, I want to kick the computer! I just now put away my pencil, paper, and calculator after figuring out a bunch of stuff for a couple of people and said "forget it". Am I evil? I hope not.

It's ok, cannr....come over and we'll have a b-tch fest together....you bring the alcohol and I'll provide the snacks! LOL

Seriously, though...I'm glad we can help people. It's frustrating when you don't hear back from them, but I guess it's human nature. I'm just glad they got help and hope they use it wisely.

I hear you, thatkind! But, oohhhh, it just ticks me off! I really think that some of these people (and that's okay) just want to get "enough" information to see if they can "get out of it" and then they leave. Well, you really can't get just 1/2 the information and then disappear! You're going to be in trouble down the road sometime! I just hate feeling like I wasted my time figuring all this stuff out and then they're gone. I'm like.... "Hello? Hello?"

OMG! I thought I was the only one totally addicted! I swear, I have to get my "fix" every single day! When the site was acting up about a week ago, I was tripping out! I'm like wandering around the house wondering "What do I do now?" How sad is that? LOL!

I hear you, I am constantly on here tooo.:) I have learned so much. I have tried to help the new people with some things that I have kind of learned the last couple of months, but when I do sometimes I feel like an idiot. Like you said you spend YOUR OWN TIME trying to help them and then poof they are gone.

I feel used and abused.

aaww...Cannr...Sue...don't feel bad...it's all in a day's work..I've seen that happen where you answer a post and then see they asked again some where else...some people just do not take the time to read and understand..and if anyone who has been through this goes out and does it again...well they deserve what they get then...how many times do you have to get burned before you stay away from the fire. Personally I am glad your all here...

Thank you, morning! "Duh" is basically the way I'm looking at it, too! I'm like "Uh, hello. You started this post and we're trying to help. Now you've got 4 others posts and getting different answers or none. What the hell?" LOL! Actually my beef is that I've had people pm'ing me asking for "example" letters. I go back, read their posts, make sure of all the information. I pm them back, asking if they've taken care of their store fronts, as they are completely different. No response. Then I see another post regarding it. I don't send the "example" letter to them. Because, obviously, they are skirting my questions. Or another one wanted an "example" of a letter. I asked specific questions, did I get a response? No. I didn't send the letter. Until I get all the facts, etc., I don't give advice. And until I get all the facts, I'm not sending an "example" letter. I like to be SURE of everything before telling anyone anything so they won't get into trouble. Now, if someone else wants to go along and send all kinds of stuff to people without knowing all the facts, more power to them. But it's not going to be me.

Well I sure do appreciate all of you. Cannr you have had my back during the worst of times and been one of the first to congratulate me in the best of times. (Even if I can get a PIF from MTE or their dba's LOL) Sadly, I think it is just human nature that you have takers and then you have givers. I'd like to think I'm a giver most of the time and when I'm on the side of taking I do so much appreciate those that are helping. Hang in there!

I think the thing that disappoints me the most with some "guests" (especially) that post: I think they look at a few readings and think this is an easy way to get out of paying for their loans (etc) possibly when they get advice and realize it takes work on their part, that we can't just hand them an easy out...they disappear. I am always saying...you didn't make this mess overnight and you can't fix it overnight either.

Thanks to all of you guys! I guess I was really just so frustrated! Here I am again though! Posting away! So, I'm a sucker! LOL! But, geesh, a few people....And morning, you're probably right. If they don't hear what they want to hear, they don't come back. But what I'm talking about are the ones that you sit for 2 hours working on & they're gone. Oh. Okay. I'll stop whining now! I know I'm appreciated by the people that count! LOL! Thank you, mperez!

Hi Cannr. You are helping more than you know. I think sometimes that guests learn by reading what others are going through and then applying it to themselves. It would, however, be nice to know that someone has gotten themselves out of some trouble with advice.

Keep helping. I know I read your posts alot and they certainly help me. :-)

el, thank you! :D I love you! :D A little appreciation goes a long way! LOL! I'm like a dog. I need a pat every now and then! LOL! But, you're probably right. Maybe they read through a lot and get a bunch of information and off they go. I just like to be sure these people get ALL the information they need to know. But, thank you guys. I feel bad now for whining!

Yes what guys are doing is a good thing and I for one have learned alot from both of you. I have even started giving people advice. I probably shouldn't since I haven't been on here as long as you guys but I figure I am willing to help someone that seems lost and hopefully the advice I give them will give them some peace of mind. It wasn't too long ago that I felt totally helpless and I hated that feeling.

So maybe some of the things I have said have helped some peope. I just want you both to know that I at least appreciate all of your advice.

Hey Cannr, I think alot of people come here for a "miracle" cure. Maybe they think we lend money , maybe they think whatever. I believe that when they find out that they themsekves have to do some work they back off. They kind of figure OH Well they can not help me. I wonder if people actually do want help. I knew That I did, so I was willing to do the work, and stick around , and become a member of this community.

Cannr, please don't feel that way....I came to this site on August 8, 2007 and you and Goudah helped me tremendously. I have two IPDL's marked PIF and two storefronts are working with me now and I have YOU to THANK. I have been coming to this site everyday, although I don't message everyday I'm HERE. I think I need the fix everyday also....
