I need help. I found out that PDL are "prohibited" in my state of North Carolina. I currently have outstanding loans with the following:

Someone will be along shortly to get you started. First thing you need to do is read this thread on closing your checking account, that is the only way that you are going to gain control of your financial situation. Please read this thread before you do so that you understand the whole situation: http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/paydayloan/close-account.html also read this link it will take you to the pdl laws in your state...http://www.paydayloaninfo.org/. This information should get you started and like I stated before someone will come along and guide you through the process. Good luck

Most pdl's are not very easy to work with. You must make them work with you. File complaints against each company with your state's AG office, your state's DFI (dept of financial inst.), and the BBB. That can help provide some muscle in dealing with the pdl's.

I just heard from EZpayday, they agreed to let me send them a payment of just what I borrowed on my time. SO, I felt like that was a step in the right direction, and for that I'm extremely thankful. I just have 3 more to go, and from what I've read on the forum these companies can be a real pain to work with: Ambassador/Nationwide, Oneclickcash, and ameriloan. I did file with BBB and NC's AG office. I will keep you guys posted.
I'm so blessed to have found this website.

ameriloan and Oneclickcash are both MTE, which can be very difficult to work with. I am battling Oneclick cash also. You can find tons of info on these threads about them. Cannr just posted a list of all the d/b/a's this company has. They are not licensed anywhere and are also very illegal.
